The Oppo PM-03 is a great set of headphones that are worth the price. They have an incredible sound quality, and they're also very comfortable for long periods of time. Not only do they offer some fantastic features, but they're also made with premium materials to ensure durability. This article will go over some of the reasons why you should be considering buying these headphones.

Oppo is a company that has been around for over 20 years. They are most popular for their high-quality DVD and Blu-ray players but they have also made some highly acclaimed headphones, audio equipment, and smartphones in the past. Unfortunately, Oppo went out of business at the beginning of 2018 though customer support still remains available with the warranty on products from before this time frame as well so you can keep enjoying your favorite music CDs without having to worry about them breaking down anytime soon!

The Oppo PM-3 planar magnetic headphones are a perfect pair of good earbuds. The sound is not too loud and it has been designed with care so that the quality will be standard for any headphone purchase.

These designer listening devices come in three colors to choose from, but they also include five different sizes of memory foam cushioning pads for comfortability purposes which I think is really cool because if you happen to buy these specifically then your ears should never hurt again!

The only downside about this product would have to be the treble reproduction as some previous customers had issues hearing certain songs due at times sounding muffled or unclear up high on their scale but other than that its all positives when thinking about buying these fantastic sets of buds.

VERDICT

The Oppo PM-3 headphones are a great choice for portable planar magnetic models. They look stylish, feel comfortable, and offer incredible sonic performance with one catch: the price! In 2015 when they were released in production there was a $400 cost but now that their production is discontinued it can be anywhere from $500 to even as high as almost 900$. The prices seem too steep so if you're looking for affordability make sure to consider this before making your purchase decision.

Design

The Oppo PM-3 headphones are as beautiful on the outside, but they also sound amazing. The hinges and headband are made of metal while earcup enclosures come in sturdy plastic with a leatherette finish for comfort.

They provide flexibility to move around without fear of breaking or damaging them, which is great if your commute includes riding public transportation like busses or trains where you can’t always have both hands free! And because these feature an audio jack that comes standard at 3.5mm it makes connecting a breeze so there's no need to bring along any phone adapters when traveling from place to place anymore - just plug into whatever device has available space (a laptop computer works best) and away you go!

Oppo PM-3 headphones come in 4 different colors – black, white, blue, and red.

Features

The headphones are made with care and attention to detail. They look very durable, much more so than other brands of earbuds on the market today. Many parts are reinforced and made out of aluminum which is sure to make them last for a long time! The hinges and headband have been built in such a way that they will never snap or break- even when you're being active during your workouts! You can tell from first glance just how well these were constructed; it's clear this company put theirs all into making something worth investing in.

The Oppo PM-3 headphones are one of the lightest planar magnetics headphones on the market. They weigh a mere 11 ounces, which is markedly lighter than other comparable models that can weigh up to 1 pound or more! Even though they happen to be closed back units, this lightweight factor makes them perfect for people who have an active lifestyle and don’t want their cans weighing down while jogging through town.

The Oppo PM-3 headphones come with two detachable audio cables. The longer one is a regular tangle-free audio cable with 3.5 jacks on both sides, and the shorter one has in-line controls built into it as well as an Apple or Android device adapter depending on what you need to use your phone for while listening to music from these speakers! If you break or lose either of those cords, don't worry - they're available at Oppos website so that if anything happens we can replace them easily and get back up and running ASAP.

The manufacturer managed to make the Oppo PM-3 headphones very sensitive (102dB) which makes them easy to drive. These planar magnetic drivers with a Neodymium magnet system and 7-layer voice coil diaphragms are what give this great sensitivity, extended frequency response, balanced audio reproduction, and minimum distortion.

Performance

The Oppo PM-3 headphones have a nice and comfortable design. The earcups are thick, with padding that makes them feel really good against your ears. It also has an adjustable headband for the perfect fit! Another great feature is how light they are - these things will be easy to wear even on long listening sessions without feeling tired or sore because of their weight.

The clamping force is not too strong and it doesn’t put too much pressure on your ears, but it's also strong enough to enable a stable and secure fit. Many planar magnetics headphones use 100mm drivers (or larger) but these have 55mm which means if you have a large ear then this headphone will be more for on-ear than over-ear listening sessions. So, with that said they do hug the head just a little bit so there aren't as lightweight when compared to other models out there like them but still quite comfortable due long listening session.

Plugging in headphones can seem tricky at first, but they actually have a pretty straightforward design. The cord is equipped with two 3.5mm jacks on each side of the cable: one for input and one for output to your speaker or phone jack. However, if you try to plug them into any old place, it just won't work-- there's an important difference when looking from either end! If plugged incorrectly (likely due to impulse), the sound will not play through the speakers nor come out of the headphone’s cups; however no damage has been done internally that would prevent future use - don't worry about mistakenly ruining anything by following these instructions carefully.

The Oppo PM-3 headphones offer a high level of noise isolation due to their over-ear closed-back design. This helps them perform better than open-backed planar magnetics headphones, which are more prone to sound leakage at moderate volumes and can be distracting for people around you when listening.

Sound Quality

Oppo PM-3 headphones deliver engaging audio performance. They have a neutral sound signature that’s punchy and detailed with an extended low range.

The bass is perfect, delivering the kind of depth you expect from great quality DJ equipment without ever sounding muddy or indistinct to your ear no matter how hard you crank up the volume on these bad boys. In fact, even at max volumes they never distort, maintaining their clarity all throughout which just proves this product was designed for professional audiophiles who know what they’re looking for in terms of pure listening pleasure and astounding fidelity outfitted with wireless Bluetooth technology too!

Some inconsistencies in the treble frequency range mean that some parts of your music might sound a little too bright, which could occasionally cause sibilance. There's also an unwanted roll-off after 10kHz so you don't get to hear all those lovely high notes and instrumentals as well as you should be able to!

The Oppo PM-3 headphones are barely distinguishable from other closed-back models even at full volume. The soundstage is narrow, but this should be expected as these types of headphones typically lack that feature. Compared to other closed backed models though there’s enough information for decent imaging

The best results when listening with the OPO HA-2SE portable amplifier/DAC come by using an EQ boost on frequencies above 10kHz and getting an impressive outcome.

The Competition

What are you looking for in a headphone? If it's sound quality, then planar magnetics headphones may be what you're after. You might want to give these 3 new ones some consideration.

Audeze EL-8 Titanium

The Audeze EL-8 Titanium are pricier than the Oppo PM3. Both, EL-8 Titanium and Oppo PM3s are over-ear closed back headphones that provide a comfortable listening experience. They have their own unique looks but both pairs of headphones can be driven easily from any iPhone or Android device with no need for an amplifier to fully appreciate them - although these two will show off much better when you use them with one! The only difference between these models is comfort: while they're equally durable, the more expensive model offers greater pain relief thanks to its softer ear pads which also come in handy if you're wearing glasses as well.

Hifiman HE400S

The Hifiman HE400S headphones are one of the most affordable planar magnetic on the market. They're much cheaper than Oppo PM-3, but they still cost a pretty penny ($220). Unlike with Oppo's more expensive model (PM-3), these come open back and don't look like an ugly duckling among its contemporaries in this price range. Whereas other models may have prettier exteriors, what counts is that their audio quality comes as close to perfect stereo sound reproduction for audiophiles who will not settle for anything less - which means you can enjoy your music however loud or soft it gets without distortion at any volume level!

Monolith M1060

Monolith M1060 headphones are another "cheap" option. They can be yours for less than $300, and they offer a unique design that is unlike any other pair of audiophile-grade open-back headphones we have seen before. You will get much better results with an amplifier when driving these cans in comparison to the Oppo PM 3 headphones which require very little amplification power (which means you don't need a separate amp). Monolith M1060 features good padding on its headband but it's not as comfortable or lightweight as the Oppo PM3 model. The Monolith M1060's dynamic drivers deliver a great bass response, decent mids (but not as good as Oppo-PM3), but much sharper highs which makes them more fatiguing.

Final Thoughts

Oppo pm 3 review said its a great pair of headphones. They are probably one of the best portable planar magnetic on the market today, and their price will only go up with time as they have discontinued production. The earpads were not synthetic leather which we had expected, but this didn't affect our overall opinion about its performance or quality so much that it would make us want to choose another brand for purchase; however, you may find those who prefer more luxurious brands than these offer at higher prices because there's no option in between if you're looking for something cheaper.
